SLASD five focal areas (the first four are part of the proposed School Board Motion):
- Offer critical thinking and creative classes like art and ethnic studies instead of test prep classes
- Provide support staff and services for students - nurses and college counselors
- End all school destabilizations like reconstitutions
- Develop a real community-driven budget for the district
- Implement real community-driven Transformative Justice (not punishments and criminalization) in schools
